EcoGuard’s Advance Commitment Marks a Milestone for Circular Economy & Carbon Markets
A DEFINING MOMENT FOR CIRCULAR ECONOMY & CARBON MARKETS
Announced at the Asia Climate Summit, EcoGuard Global has made an advance commitment for carbon credits from Meta Materials Circular Markets (MMCM)’s ELV Material Recovery Carbon Programme, an important milestone for one of the world’s first carbon programmes dedicated to End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) material recovery.
More than an advance commitment, this reflects growing confidence in innovative climate solutions that place the circular economy at the heart of decarbonization.
MMCM’s ELV Material Recovery Carbon Programme combines scientific material recovery with a robust digital MRV framework, enabling authorized vehicle scrapping facilities to generate high-integrity carbon credits while delivering measurable environmental and economic benefits. In doing so, it creates a pathway to unlock climate finance for the automotive circularity sector.
As the transition to a low-carbon, resource-efficient future accelerates, this collaboration demonstrates how circular economy projects can evolve into credible, investable climate solutions.
We are proud to welcome EcoGuard among the first organizations to support this pioneering initiative. This milestone reflects a shared commitment to strengthening responsible recycling ecosystems, advancing the voluntary carbon market, and accelerating meaningful climate action.
Together, we believe every vehicle scrapped responsibly is an opportunity to reduce emissions, recover valuable resources, and help build a more circular, low-carbon future.
